Who is behind Katy Miles Art?
Katy’s the artist, read all about Katy’s story in the ‘Hello from Katy’ section. Her sister, Lucy, is the driving force and most organised person you’ll ever meet. She was instrumental in the set up and is often behind the emails/messages. Lily, who is 12 years old and Katy’s niece, is the self-titled Head of Social Media, who in fairness understands the workings of Instagram far better than her mum (Lucy) and Katy. She is constantly giving us lessons. Finally, Katy and Lucy’s mum helps out with some of the document production. Be assured that all of your messages, orders and emails will receive our personal attention.
Are these prints?
No - all artwork is individually hand painted by Katy herself.
What size is your art?
All of my art comes ready mounted, please check within each item's description, for the exact measurements.
Do you take requests?
We are able to personalise certain pieces of art work, this will be highlighted within the descriptions.
Currently The Quacker Family, Bee Hive, The Wellington Family and most recently Loyal Companions. All can represent your family in watercolours.
Plus my Make a Wish Dragonflies - you have the option to choose the colours to suit your decor or taste. Otherwise, unfortunately not, Katy is always working on new designs to expand her collections.
Do you frame your art?
At this moment, we are unable to offer this unless you live locally to Cheltenham and could collect your order. The art size is pretty standard so hopefully you shouldn’t have a problem finding a frame to suit your home.
How will I know if my order is correct?
We will send you an email with confirmation of your order details. If we’ve not got it quite right we ask you to contact us as soon as possible, before Katy gets painting, so we can make those changes for you.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Of course, just contact Katy Miles Art ideally within 24 hours to inform us that you have changed your mind.
When can I expect my order?
We aim to post within 7-10 working days from ordering. Katy will paint and post your chosen artwork, in the unlikely event there is a delay we will notify you. If your order is urgent, please do let us know, we are always happy to help where and when we can.
I want to send my order as a gift?
No problem – making people happy is what we do. Let us know and we can gift wrap your chosen art, with a personalised note and send it directly for an additional £3.50.
What is the cost of postage and why?
We always aim to keep the cost to our customers as low as possible. We send your orders 1st class Royal Mail unless otherwise requested. The cost also covers packing to make sure your art arrives safely.
What if I’m not happy?
If you’ve changed your mind, we want you to be happy, so please get in touch. Our goal is to ensure that each and every customer is as excited and thrilled to receive their artwork, as Katy was to paint and send it.
Can I send you a photo of my art framed?
Yes Please! We absolutely love to see Katy’s work framed and in your home it really does make her smile. Please tag us and use the HashTag #KatySmiles and you may even get a repost.
What keeps you creating?
Katy’s enjoyment and drive is when she sees the art in your home #KatySmiles. She also loves creating new pieces and hearing your thoughts on her new work. Keep an eye on her social media for latest additions.
